How Are Crowns Made?

Our dentists will prepare your tooth as usual, and then a noninvasive, wheeled machine with a discreet, handheld camera is used to take pictures. Next, we design your crown on the same machine, which sends the information to a second machine in our lab, where the crown is created.

Get Crown Plus Check & Clean

Using the CEREC machine means that you are only in the chair for as little as 45 minutes for the first part. Then there’s a break while we prepare your new crown. Some of our patients book in a check and clean appointment while they wait!

A Natural-looking Crown

The result is a durable, natural crown with a tooth colour that looks and feels great in the mouth.
